September 27th, 2012 Slammin' Tips'n'Toes

The latest country-inspired collection for OPI is the Germany collection, The Polishaholic has the full range of colors. It's now available (RM33 each) and can be viewed here.

Minis are finally available! They're great as gift sets, or if you want to try some of the different colors in a collection, but don't want to buy the full-sized bottles. The minis that are currently available at RM45 each (and are restockable) are:

August 18th, 2012 Slammin' Tips'n'Toes

First of all, early greetings of Selamat Hari Raya to all of you who are celebrating. For those who don't celebrate Raya, Happy Holidays! Have a great holiday, and for those travelling outstation, do drive safely!

NYX New Arrivals

NYX Crimson Amulet

The Crimson Amulet palette, inspired by Tim Burton's Dark Shadows movie is now available (limited quantities), and is priced at RM95 (not including shipping). You can check out Vampy Varnish for her review.
NYX Nude On Nude Palette
Also available is the popular NYX Nude On Nude palette (RM95, not including shipping), and this palette has been compared with the famous Urban Decay Naked Palette. Reviews on this palette can be found on Makeup and Beauty Blog, it also includes swatches of the Urban Decay palette for comparisons.

OPI & China Glaze Pre-Orders

OPI Germany collection

The latest country-inspired collection for OPI is the Germany collection, The Polishaholic has the full range of colors. It's now available for pre-order (RM33 each).
 

China Glaze On Safari
Next up, is China Glaze's On Safari collection of twelve colors, swatches can be viewed on Scrangie's blog. In keeping with the safari theme, the polishes have names like Jungle Queen and Elephant Walk. I'm Not Lion and I Herd That are the two glitter topcoats, or they can also be glitter colors, if enough layers are applied. This collection is also available for pre-order at RM21 per bottle.

Last, but not least, is China Glaze's New Bohemian collection, which features six duochromes. Swatches for the six colors can be viewed on The Polishaholic. These are fairly unusual for China Glaze, and are priced slightly more expensive, at RM25 per bottle.

There's an on-going pre-order NYX spree, which will be closing on Thursday (19th July), here's your chance to order products that Slammin' Tips'n'Toes doesn't normally carry! One of the products that is available for pre-order is the Crimson Amulet palette, inspired by Tim Burton's Dark Shadows movie. It's priced at RM95 (not including shipping), and you can check out Vampy Varnish for her review. For those of you who are fans of the popular Jumbo Eye Pencil, did you know that some new colors were released recently? You can check out some of the swatches here. China Glaze Restocks

Generally, most of the older China Glaze collections are non-restockable, however, two collections have been partially restocked this time round. OPI Spiderman collection

Once again, OPI has joined forces with an upcoming movie release, this time, it's Spiderman movie! The stand-outs in this collection include Just Spotted The Lizard (a green duochrome which is reportedly a dupe for the famed Chanel Peridot) and Number One Nemesis. This collection is available for pre-order at RM33 per bottle. Swatches can be viewed on The PolishAholic.

 

OPI NYC Ballet Display

The new OPI SoftShades for 2012 is inspired by the New York City Ballet, all of the colors are quite sheer and pastel, and the layering glitter 'Pirouette My Whistle' is looking pretty awesome. Pricing for this collection is RM30 per bottle (only available via pre-order). Swatches can be viewed on ommorphia beauty bar.

The pre-order is closing on the 11th of May (or earlier if the quota is filled). If you miss out, don't worry, you can always join in the next round of pre-orders, which will probably be the week after that.

OPI's latest country-themed collection was released awhile ago, featuring six cremes, and six shimmers. The bestsellers so far are A Roll In The Hague (bright orange creme), Gouda Gouda Two Shoes (rose shimmer) and Wooden Shoe Like To Know? (chocolate brown shimmer). China Glaze Hunger Games display

One of the most highly anticipated movies since the Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games movie will be released in a few days time. In conjunction with that, China Glaze has released a Hunger Games inspired collection, and it's one of the most interesting collections by China Glaze. Each district is represented by a color, and some of them are simply stunning! January 30th, 2012 Slammin' Tips'n'Toes

Greetings from Slammin’ Tips’n'Toes, here’s wishing everyone a fabulous New Year ahead! Let’s hope that 2012 will be a great year for nail polish brands, I’m particularly looking forward to OPI’s Holland collection (creme swatches and shimmer swatches) which should be released soon. The beginning of January was fairly quiet, as stocks were quite low due to the Christmas season. Most of the colors have now been restocked, and can be viewed here.

Nicki Minaj OPI Collection

OPI’s latest collaboration, is with Nicki Minaj, and has just been released.  It features six fun and funky new shades, all named after her top charting hits. “Did It On Em” is a vibrant green, “Fly” is a bright sky blue (currently out of stock), “Save Me” is a holographic glitter, “Metallic For Life” is a play on of her single “Moment For Life,” is a silver chunky glitter, a Barbie pink hue called “Pink Friday”and lastly “Super Bass Shatter” that is a royal purple shatter. The Nicki Minaj collection is available at RM32 per bottle. Swatches can be viewed on ommorphia beauty bar.

OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers

Avojuice Skin Quenchers lotions are filled with real, good-for-you natural extracts and an entire menu of soothing, nourishing ingredients designed to give skin a drink of moisture. Skin quenchers are available in the 30ml size (RM10), and range from flavors like Raspberry Violet (delicate violet with a hint of fruit) to Peach (sweet, soft scent of just-picked peaches). The NYX product listing has been updated, and can be viewed here. It’s been revamped for easier browsing, there are now categories for Eyes, Face, and Lips. There are many new products, from the popular Soft Matte Lip Color, Cream Blush / Powder Blush, eyeshadow palettes and the Studio HD Photogenic Foundation.

From OPIs press release: OPI launches the limited edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure® in its promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever. The 2011 Pink of Hearts edition will follow in the footsteps of its namesake 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 Nail Lacquers in raising awareness of breast cancer for the fifth year in a row, during the months of September and October (National Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Unlike previous shade incarnations, this year’s Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer marks the debut of fan-favorite Shatter coat in OPI’s first pink shade.

Seche Restore

Having a problem with thickened polishes? It’s a common occurrence, especially with shatters. Seche Restore is one of the best products out there, that can restore your polish to it’s original condition (RM30 per bottle). Scrangie wrote a review about this product that can be found here. Other specialty products are the Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat (RM30), OPI Nail Envy (RM45), and a brand new arrival, OPI Avoplex Nail & Cuticle Replenishing Oil (RM40) that nourishes dry cuticles. OPI’s latest collaboration with the Muppets is now available for pre-order at RM30 per bottle. There are twelve colors in this collection, which includes six cool glitters. Some of the colors will be brought in as ready stock (very limited), others have to be pre-ordered.

OPI Touring America

OPI’s Touring America collection is also available for pre-order (RM27 per bottle). It’s a large collection of 12 colors, ranging from great shimmery colors like A Color To Diner For, to cremes like French Quarter For Your Thoughts. China Glaze Let It Snow

Finally, China Glaze’s latest Christmas collection Let It Snow has been released and is available for pre-order at RM21 per bottle. These are amazing colors, amongst the most outstanding colors is Glittering Garland which has been compared to Emerald Sparkle, one of China Glaze’s most popular greens. OPI New Arrivals

The Nice Stems collection is available now in limited colors. It consists of four different colored pinks, one of the most popular colors is I Lily Love You, which is a glittery color awesome for layering. For swatches, you can always refer to The PolishAholic.

OPI also did a mini collaboration with Miss Universe, coming up with four Miss Universe-themed colors. Some of the colors are quite unique, there’s an amazing looking blue foil! Based on user reviews, a good base coat is probably necessary when wearing Swimsuit Nailed It, as staining might occur. Swatches of all four colors can be viewed at The Polishaholic.

China Glaze Metal Crackles

The new China Glaze crackle metals (RM25 per bottle) will be available this week! Platinum Pieces is already sold out, the other five colors are still available. If you already like the shatter effect, these are shatters PLUS it’s a cool metallic look. Scrangie’s blog features all the different colors.

China Glaze’s Halloween collection 2011 is now available for pre-order at RM25 per bottle. There are two glitters, two cremes, a glow-in-the-dark top coat and their black crackle. Swatches can be viewed from All Lacquered Up.


The China Glaze Metro Fall 2011 collection is also available for pre-order (RM21 per bottle). It’s a large collection of 12 colors, ranging from Concrete Catwalk which is a dark grey creme, to glittery colors like CG In The City. The full range of swatches can be viewed on Scrangie’s blog.

We’ve just started stocking Essie colors. At the moment, the selection is really limited, confined to a few of the more popular colors like Topless & Barefoot, Chinchilly, Turquoise & Caicos and a couple of other colors. Pirates Of The Caribbean

The Pirates Of The Caribbean collection is available now in limited colors. It’s so popular that quite a lot of the colors are sold out, even from our US supplier! You can always pre-order, and we’ll let you know when it’s available again. From murky greens, to grays, and purples, this collection is not to be missed! For swatches, you can always refer to Scrangie’s awesome swatches.

OPI Shatters
One of the newest trends to hit the nail polish community are the new shatters. Almost every brand is coming out with their versions, but of course, we’re highlighting OPI’s shatters. There are quite a few different colors available right now, black, silver, red, three shades of blues, and more! Just Google up OPI shatter swatches, and you’ll see many swatches. Availability is constantly changing, as these are some of the most popular picks right now, but don’t forget, you can choose to pre-order them if we’ve run out of stock. The shatters are slightly more expensive (RM35) as compared to the regular colors, but it’s so much fun using them!

A loyalty program was launched in the beginning of June 2011, to reward all of Slammin’ Tips’n'Toes customers. In a nutshell, for every RM1 you spend, you collect 1 point. These points can be accumulated, and used to redeem cash vouchers for your next purchase.
